The Catawba Valley Camera Club has announced the winners of its
photographic competition for the June 3, 2009 meeting.
The competition was Prints with assigned topic “Exposure”.
The Accomplished Division winners were:
There was a tie for first place between Robert Dant’s “Infrared Park”
and Dick Washer’s “Bryce Canyon, Utah”.
Third Place was won by Rick Bell for “Tortoise”.

Dick Washer was the First Place winner in the Advanced Wildflower Category in the Grandfather Mountain Nature Photography Weekend on 5/31/09
Steven Gold – Judged Best of Show for sunrise at Grandfather Mountian,
and was awarded the Hugh Morton Award.
Steven Gold also placed 3rd in the Amateur Wildflower category
with Wild Geranium
