Click HERE to see a slideshow of the club members favorite images that were presented at the July 1 meeting.  Each member shared with us what they liked about the images, where it was taken, what was involved in taking the image.  There were no critiques on these images.  Enjoy

At our last meeting, one of our club members, Steven Gold did a presentation on Lightroom and it was very informative.  Again we had a full house with several guest in attendance.  Thank you Steve for the presentation.

At our next meeting the Camera Club steps away from info or competition nights to a fun sharing of favorite images.  We’ll enjoy what we like about the images and notice each others gifts.  Then, Janice Setzler has offered to make them all into a collage to be placed in the big frame in the meeting room.

To make this happen we need all of you to send your favorite image  (taken on any date or time) in two ways:

1.   As full resolution attachment

2.   As a projector ready image (same as we do for competitions)      (See the website for the process)

Send an email with both to Robert Hambrick and Janice Setzler so that Robert can prepare a projection and Janice can begin the collage.  You must send these by Monday June 29 at 7:30 PM.

vinny April 1st, the  Catawba Valley Camera Club had Vinny Colucci with Naturescapesphotoworkshops.com come and share with members about histograms and how to make use of them.  He shared with club members images that he and his business partner Melissa Southern have taken and he showed us how to read a histogram from our camera and what we need to do to adjust our camera for a  better exposure.  We had a another full house of members attending.   Please visit his site and check out the workshops as well as his and Melissa’s images.  Thank you Vinny for taking the time to come and share your knowledge with us.
